Geof MillerĪ quaint little film which crosses the erotic and the horror genres quite nicely, with very attractive young ladies, inclusive of a beautified Linda Blair, who plays the part of a Black Witch set on possessing the man of her desires, and not surprisingly, she does ultimately get what she wants. The prolific director, Jim Wynorski, cowrote another, unrelated film also called Sorceress back in 1983. Sorceress has it all: a tortured hero plenty of babe-a-licious women (and a guy or two) shedding their clothes with mad abandon to explore their own dark impulses and a villain with motives so Byzantine they must have been inspired by the writer's last conversation with his agent. To carp about plot holes or acting in this straight-to-video film is to miss the point entirely. Larry tries to rebuild his life, but Amelia has other plans. ![]() But Howard's wife, Amelia (Linda Blair), is no slouch in black magic herself she kills Erica and makes Larry think he's responsible. When Howard (Edward Albert) gets promoted to senior partner instead of Larry (Larry Poindexter), Larry's wife Erica (the abundantly endowed Julie Strain) uses the occult to cause an accident that leaves Howard in a wheelchair. ![]() All the pleasures of the flesh and malevolence of black magic collide with volatile force in a deadly experiment in witchcraft. But Erica makes a fatal mistake when she tries to kill Howard, Larry's main competition for partnership because Howard's wife is more than a practicing witch.she's an expert.
